A World Cup for the hundredth birthday

In 2030 the World Cup turns one hundred. The first tournament was played in Uruguay in 1930; a century later the competition comes back to its roots with opening matches in Montevideo, Buenos Aires and Asunción before moving to the main hosts Morocco, Portugal and Spain. Forty-eight teams will play 104 matches between 8 June 2030 and 21 July 2030, with a round of 32 before the traditional knockout rounds. The 2030 hosts, format and qualifying page explains how the tournament is organised, which stadiums have been proposed and how the six confederations qualify.

The same data as the app

Mundial 2030 is the website of the free app Mundial 2030: Scores & Stats. Everything here is generated from the app's data: 221 national teams, 3,517 players in current squad pools, 1,068 match reports from 23 World Cups, 37 stadiums from the proposed 2030 venues to the historic grounds of past finals. When something is not decided yet — kick-off times, the final venue, the slot allocation for 2030 — the site says "to be confirmed" instead of guessing.

Every World Cup since 1930

23 tournaments, from thirteen teams in Uruguay to forty-eight in North America in 2026. Brazil has won the most titles (5); the defending champion is Spain, winner of the 2026 final. Each edition page has groups and tables, the full knockout bracket, every result with goalscorers and minutes, top scorers, awards and venues. Start with the 48-team tournament of 2026 or the very first World Cup of 1930 in Uruguay; the overview of all World Cups since 1930 lists champions, finals, the titles table, record wins and the all-time scorers.

National teams from six confederations

The team pages for every confederation cover 221 national teams — every World Cup participant past and present plus the rest of the qualifying field: World Cup appearances year by year, best result, record at the finals, top scorers, latest line-up and the current squad pool built from competitive matches. Every squad player has a player page with tournament statistics — appearances, minutes, goals, assists, shots, passes and cards by competition, and the fantasy price.

Two free games along the road to 2030

The exact-score game for international matches covers competitive international matches on every continent — Nations League games in Europe and North America, the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, Asian and Oceanian fixtures — and every World Cup 2030 qualifying competition as soon as its schedule is published. Later the 104 matches of the 2030 finals are added. Predict before kick-off and collect 3, 2 or 1 points. National-team fantasy football is the second game: fifteen players, 100.0m, three per country at most, a captain, transfers and a wildcard, with gameweeks that follow the international windows. Rankings are overall, by country, between countries and with friends in private leagues. Points only — no money anywhere.

Qualifying on six continents

The host nations — Morocco, Portugal and Spain, and the centenary hosts Uruguay, Argentina and Paraguay — are expected to qualify automatically. The other places are decided in the qualifying competitions of Europe, South America, North and Central America, Africa, Asia and Oceania. Their formats are published one after another; as soon as a competition has groups and fixtures, they appear on this site, in the app and in the score game.

Why read it here

The app is perfect during a match; the site is better for long reads: comparing finals, scrolling through a group table from 1958 or checking how many goals a striker has scored in qualifying. It is fast, works without installation and is available in English, Spanish and Russian. One account works on both: sign in with the player key from the app. Read how the data is collected and checked if you want to know the sources.

How to find your way around

The menu at the top leads to the main sections: the current tournament, national teams, players, history, the two games and their rules. Every team page links to its players, every player page back to his team, every edition to its matches and every match report to the edition, both teams and the previous and next match. Breadcrumbs at the top of each page show where you are, and the language switcher keeps you on the same page in English, Spanish or Russian wherever a translation exists — player profiles and match reports are in English, because names and scores read the same in every language.

Tables are scrollable sideways on small screens, all images load only when they come into view, and the whole site is readable without JavaScript. The only parts that need a script are the live game elements: the prediction boxes, your points and the leaderboards. They load directly from the game server, so what you see there is always current, even when the rest of the page shows the data of the last build.
