Fantasy football with national teams
Build a fifteen-man squad of international players within a budget of 100.0 million, choose a captain for every international window and score points from real matches. Classic fantasy rules, adapted for national-team football.
Fantasy and the score game are two different games
The app offers two free games side by side. In the exact-score prediction game you guess results match by match. Fantasy football is about players: you pick a squad, and every goal, assist, clean sheet or save of your players in real international matches earns points. Both games share your player profile, your friends and your private leagues, but they have separate rankings.
Your squad: fifteen players, 100.0 million
Every manager starts with a budget of 100.0m and has to buy exactly fifteen players: two goalkeepers, five defenders, five midfielders and three forwards. No more than three players may come from the same national team, which stops anybody from simply buying the strongest squad in the world. Prices are fixed for the whole season, so a cheap player who suddenly scores in every window becomes a bargain rather than more expensive.
From the fifteen you pick a starting eleven and four substitutes for each gameweek. The line-up has to be a legal formation: one goalkeeper, three to five defenders, two to five midfielders and one to three forwards. The bench is ordered — slot twelve is the reserve goalkeeper, then outfield substitutes in priority order.
Captain, vice-captain and automatic substitutions
Choose a captain: his points count double. Choose a vice-captain too: if the captain does not play at all in the gameweek, the vice-captain's points are doubled instead. When one of your starters plays zero minutes and all matches of his team in that gameweek are finished, the first suitable player on your bench comes in automatically, as long as the formation stays legal.
How players score
- Playing 1 to 59 minutes: 1 point; 60 minutes or more: 2 points.
- Goal: goalkeeper or defender 6, midfielder 5, forward 4.
- Assist: 3 points.
- Clean sheet (at least 60 minutes, nothing conceded while on the pitch): goalkeeper or defender 4, midfielder 1.
- Every 3 saves by a goalkeeper: 1 point. Penalty saved: 5.
- Penalty missed: −2. Every 2 goals conceded by a goalkeeper or defender: −1.
- Yellow card −1, red card −3 (replaces the yellow), own goal −2.
There are no bonus points: they would need a judgement we cannot reproduce from reliable public data, and every point you see should be checkable from the match report. Each international player profile on this site shows the statistics behind the numbers — minutes, goals, assists, shots, key passes, tackles and cards competition by competition.
Gameweeks are international windows
Club football has a match every weekend; national teams play in windows — usually two matches in a few days, a handful of times per year — plus the final tournaments. A gameweek therefore covers one window: kick-offs closer than six days apart belong together. The deadline is the first kick-off of the window; after it, your team for that gameweek is locked.
The first fantasy season, "Road to 2030", uses the competitive internationals of each window: Nations League, Africa Cup of Nations 2027 qualifiers, CONCACAF Nations League and, once they start, the World Cup 2030 qualifiers of all six confederations. The second season is the finals in Morocco, Portugal and Spain, with prices reset for the 48 qualified squads.
Transfers and the wildcard
Before your team's first deadline you can change it as often as you like. After that, every gameweek gives you one free transfer; an unused free transfer is saved, up to a maximum of two. Each additional transfer costs four points, counted against the squad you started the gameweek with — undoing a transfer before the deadline is free. Once per season you can play a wildcard: unlimited transfers for one gameweek without any deduction, perfect after a window full of injuries.
Availability flags
National-team squads change constantly. Each player in the pool carries a status: available, doubtful, injured, suspended, not in the latest call-up, or left the national team. Players who have retired from international football cannot be bought, but they stay in squads that already own them. Flagged players score nothing when they do not play — check the flags before every deadline. Statuses come from the latest call-ups, injury and suspension lists of the data feed and are refreshed before each window.
Leagues and rankings
Your fantasy score appears in the overall table, in the table of your country, in the countries table (average per manager, at least three managers) and in every private league you belong to. A gameweek table shows who had the best window; the season table adds everything up.
Strategy for national-team fantasy
International football rewards different habits from club fantasy. Windows are short, so a player who starts both matches of a window is worth more than a star who may be rested after the first. Look at minutes, not only goals: the squad tables on every team page show who has actually played in recent competitive matches. Spread your picks across groups and leagues — when two of your nations play each other, one of your clean sheets is almost certainly lost. Use the three-per-country limit as a tool: a strong defence of a favourite in an easy window can be worth three players, but the fourth best pick of that country is often weaker than a regular starter elsewhere.
Goalkeepers and defenders of strong teams collect clean-sheet points steadily, while forwards bring the big hauls. Captaincy decides most gameweeks, so pick a player who is likely to play the full ninety minutes in both matches. Keep a free transfer in reserve before windows with many withdrawals: national squads lose players to injuries at short notice, and statuses are refreshed before each deadline. The wildcard is best saved for the window right after a major tournament draw or for the start of the final tournament, when many squads change at once.

The tables below come straight from the live player pool of the game. They show the most expensive players in each position and how prices are spread. Prices are set from minutes, goals, assists and the strength of the team in recent competitive matches; see the complete rules of both games for every detail, including how ties are separated.
